Vintage photogravure, which is a metal on wood newspaper type, a French D'Orsay crystal perfume bottle with glass pearl beads, birch rods and basswood strips, paper, acrylic paint and acrylic media on archival wood support.
Miss Vicky Vickers was the name the typographer wrote on the back of the type block. This photogravure was used in advertisements for a nightclub or theater act in the 1940's or early 1950's where Miss Vickers performed.
