Rituals and Reliquaries: Dolly Dawn
12 1/8" x 12 1/8" x 2 1/2" d.
Vintage wood and zinc photogravure newspaper type block, 1940's-50's. This was used to produce newpapers ads for live burlesque and "girly" shows. Dolly Dawn's name was written on the back of the type in pencil.

The Hyglo nail polish paste (pink) is from the same era. Every self-respecting showgirl had to have substantial make-up.
